Question about home prices?
Ok, I asked in Realestate and finance, but I’m curious to hear from the people in this section too, since i’m here a lot!
I was wondering about different areas and home prices. So I was wondering:
1- do you own or rent- how long have you owned/ rented there?
2- how much was your home/ how much is your rent each month (minus utilities)
3- about your home
4- where do you live?
For me:
1- do you own or rent? own- 7 years
2- how much was your home/ how much is your rent each month (minus utilities) $63,500.00
3- about your home 1700 sq ft, 1 1/2 story cape cod. 8 rooms, 2 bed, 2 bath, on crawl space. Built in 1900’s fully renovated.
4- where do you live? Van Wert, OH
I know our home price is very good for what we got compared to Toledo, OH but that is my only real comparison (my bro bought a 1400 sq ft house in Toledo for $130,000.00) We are looking at building a home near here and i’m amazed! For 2400 sq ft brand new home on a basement will be roughly $150,000.00 without the cost of land and well/septic. Is everywhere else more expensive, or does anyone else have cheaper home prices? Just curious! I’m especially curious about the UK!

3)was built in 1951 with an addition added in 1983. Original house is a 1 1/2 story with basement, the addition is a single story. 4 bedroom, 2bath, detached garage, 1200sq feet on main floor about 2000sq ft in total.

1-rent 7 years
2- they are selling it for 85k
3- 3br 2 ba modular home (or a really pretty doublewide haha)
4-Savannah, GA
(We are buying the house next door which is bigger for 60k but it needs a lot of work done however, my man is a carpenter so it’s going to be gorgeous.)

We own but rent out (we are in the military and do not live there anymore) and also rent
