Fireplace Inserts
Even though it is summer now, we decided that we needed to get ready for winter. Last winter was a cold one, and we could never seem to get the house warm enough. Right now we are investigating wood burning fireplace inserts. Everything that I have heard and read suggests that this is great way to heat a large area with just a little wood burning. We already have a fireplace so it is just a matter of getting one and basically securing it to the existing opening. So far what I have seen is pretty impressive. They are attractive and, considering all the savings and heat that we will be getting out of them, they are pretty cheap too.
